Students from SFU’s LEAD program have organized a free, two-hour workshop to be taught by Judith Marcuse, which is open to faculty, students and staff.
Description: Games, movement, images and lots of laughter. This workshop introduces participants to new ways of addressing issues and concerns through the arts. No dance or theatre experience necessary. Just wear comfy clothing and be prepared for fun.
Presenter Bio: Judith Marcuse is one of Canada's senior artist/ producers with an international career that spans over 40 years as dancer, choreographer, director, producer, teacher, writer and lecturer. An internationally-recognized pioneer in the field of arts for social change, she has created over 100 original works for dance, theatre and opera, for film and television, and has produced seven large scale arts festivals.
