ActALIVE is an arts coalition that was active from 2003 - 2005, composed of groups and individuals who use the arts and media to address HIV/AIDS and other human-development challenges. The coalition has 300 members in 25 countries, and welcomes anyone who has a like-minded approach to prevention, education, and amelioration activities. We hope to collaborate and partner with a wide range of organizations and in a variety of art forms, and look forward to building networks of creativity, inspiration, hope, and healing. ActALIVE stands for 'Arts for Creative Transformation: Activism, Lifeline, Inspiration, Vision, Education'.
