We are pleased to announce that two of the world’s leading figures in the world of art for social change/art in community will be coming to Vancouver in October. ICASC is pleased to announce the following two free public events:
On Sunday, October 18th, from 2pm to 5pm at the Vancity Theatre, ICASC hosts Arlene Goldbard, one of the world's leading writers in the field of art for social change. Ms. Goldbard will deliver a short presentation Creative Renewal: How Art Can Save Us Now and engage in dialogue with her audience.
On Tuesday, October 20th, ICASC and SFU's Centre for Dialogue host an informal dialogue with Liz Lerman. Conversations, Questions and Freefall. This public dialogue is open to everyone interested in the field of art in community and social change, and the ways in which these practices enrich and inform every sector of our society. Ms. Lerman will also preview excerpts from her new book.
Attendance for both events is free, but space is limited. Please click on event names for full information and registration.
